1pm -1.50pm Finger Knit a Necklace

• Learn to knit without needles
• Use your fingers to make a summer accessory

2pm to 2.50pm Make a Fabric Flower Corsage
• Tutor, Esme Clemo is from The Craft Network
• Hand stitch a pretty floral corsage
• Fold fabric into an intricate floral design
• Finish with a bright button and brooch back

Thursday 7 April
10.30am-1.30pm Beginners English Paper Piecing Quilting
• Tutor is Ruth van Steenis
• Learn a traditional craft
• Great way to use up your fabric scraps
• Learn how to cut, baste and stitch fabric covered templates together
• Learn how to baste and stitch hexagons to create a diamond triple ring pattern
• You will be given full instructions to continue at home

Friday 8 April and Saturday 9 April
10.30am-1.30pm Beginners Modern Hand Quilting
• Tutor is Ruth van Steenis
• Learn basic modern hand quilting techniques
• Learn simple effective stitching
• Create impact by using different threads
• A wonderful way to finish a handmade quilt

Thursday 7, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April
2pm-5pm Learn to Crochet
• Tutor will be Freddie Patmore from The Craft Network or Jane Lithgow
• Learn how to hold the hook and yarn and start off
• Work basic stitches; chain, double and trebles
• Try an easy project using the stitches
