Rainbow bear - Best knits for kids
Hello, Kandy here. Working on Woman’s Weekly, it never ceases to amaze me just how exciting it is to see our published issues on the newsagents’ shelf. It’s even more exciting when either a copy of Woman’s Weekly Knitting & Crochet Special or the Bookazine is out and The Best Of Our Knits For Kids, is on sale now.

We had great pleasure in planning the content of this issue, it’s always a delight to make something for a little one or a special gift for a new mum. We’ve included pretty sets in traditional baby shades, trendy garments and accessories in a brighter and more modern palette of colours.

There’s practical storage solutions, plus bunting decorations for the nursery and both quirky and more classic toys, that you can be any age to enjoy. There’s even a baby congratulations card that will be just as lovely to make as it would be to receive. For those of you with older children to make for, there are plenty of designs to inspire you, too. There’s a pretty Fair Isle cardi for the girls and a smart tank top for the boys, plus many more. With 59 great patterns to knit and crochet, we think we’ve thought of everything — and at just £9.95, it’s incredible value, too!
