In the run-up to Christmas, we’re sent lots of fabulous photos by readers who are keen to show off their festive makes.

As you’ll see from the gallery we’ve put together, a number of Women’s Weekly regulars have been using their knitting skills to create some truly wonderful Christmas jumpers.

Carol Taylor sent us a snap of her top decorated with a fun red-nosed reindeer, while Julie Kearney wowed us with her adorable novelty sweater.

It would be the perfect gift to give a grandchild or young relative on 25 December.

Eileen Roberts just couldn’t resist crafting matching winter woollies for her brother and nephew, telling us: ‘Knitting is my favourite hobby’.

Violet Misselbrook is one Women’s Weekly fan who has been very busy stitching 11 long-sleeved Christmas jumpers. Her garments feature everything from a snowman to skiing Santa Claus.

Margaret Joyce Twycross spent two weeks knitting a snuggly Christmas pudding motif sweater topped with an emerald green sprig of holly for a friend’s granddaughter.

Classic nativity scenes starring Mary, Joseph and Jesus plus chirpy robins with bold red breasts are also clearly a huge hit with our readers.

And Vivien Ord showed her love of the Disney film Frozen by making her very own Olaf the snowman toy.

The movie was released in 2013 and is still just as popular around the world today thanks to its soundtrack of catchy songs.

We really do love to see the things you make and this brilliant bake by Dawn Bray and Chris Lloyd is no exception.

‘As novices at cake making we had a go at made the ‘Jolly Santa’ xmas cake,’ one modestly told us.

‘I am sure it will taste as good as it looks.’

Let our round-up of readers’ creations inspire you to get crafty from the comfort of your own home this year.
