Whether you’re a keen knitter, a fan of paper craft or prefer working with a crochet hook, it’s always fun to have a go at making home interiors.

To showcase all of the wonderful projects our readers have been crafting in their spare time, we’ve created a gallery that will inspire you to get creative too.

Want to add a splash of colour to your sofa with a bright cushion? We suggest following Rona McKnight’s lead.

‘I was reading over the instructions for the patchwork cushion in an issue of Woman’s Weekly when my daughter Rona, 22, decided to have a go at making the cushions,’ Rona’s mum Roslind tells us.

‘As you can see from the photograph she was very successful. I am very proud of her as she is trying to sell them to fund her fifth visit to Africa as a volunteer with Habitat For Humanity.’

Others to have sent us snaps of their fabulous cushions include Helen Blight who decorated hers with an appliqué sausage dog.

When it comes to home interiors, both Jayne Egan and Ann Clare know that a bold throw can transform a bed.

‘I had so many odd balls in my stash that were not enough to make a garment but too much to throw out so I made this wonderful thick and warm blanket for my guest room,’ says Ann.

We have a fabulous pattern for a granny square throw available to buy in our shop. To order your copy call us on 0800 024 1212, quoting product code WHD114.

Wall hangings are also popular with Woman’s Weekly fans, with Lynne Holland and Carol Turner making them for various rooms.

Other home interiors that our readers have made to bring a personal touch to their surroundings include a knitted wine bottle holder, a fabulous red peg bag and a couple of tea cosies.
