Kate Middleton and Prince William head to the slopes with Prince George and Princess Charlotte
Kate Middleton and Prince William whisked their children away for a special wintry break last week.
The sporty duo took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the French Alps and couldn’t resist sharing some sweet snaps from their trip.
‘This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow,’ a Kensington Palace spokesperson confirmed.
‘It was very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well.
‘The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos.’
One image shows Kate giggling as she hits her unsuspecting 33-year-old husband with a snowball – but it’s not long before he gets his revenge.
Wills smiles proudly with his baby daughter in another.
A fifth image shows the Duke of Cambridge affectionately draping an arm around Kate’s shoulder as they stand against a stunning backdrop.
Seasoned skiers, it comes as no surprise that Kate and Wills were suitably wrapped up for the occasion.
Fashion icon Kate, 34, favoured a white jacket and bright red trousers, while Wills opted for a bold blue and black ensemble.
And of course they packed some cosy padded onesies into their suitcase for George and Charlotte.
Adorably, the royal family even decided to don matching Fair Isle bobble hats in an array of colours.
